Anime Studio and our iPhone app!

Post by AngryMonster »

Hey guys and girls

Well, I am happy to announce our very own iPhone app!

Little Bella's - I Close My Eyes

First time AS has been used for the iPhone... (made that up... but might be true?)

iLoveLittleBella.com

It's an interactive, animated storybook for kids. We used both Flash and Anime (mostly Anime) for the animation and as usual, After Effects for comp. We also used Flash to create an actionscript protype.

For a small thing, there is heaps of animation in there. Unfortunately, unless you have an iPhone/iPod touch, you won't be able to view it... but you should be able to get a good idea of what the animation is like from the ad that is on Little Bella's site above.

You can also, in iTunes, search for Little Bella in the app store. You can see some screen shots there.

I will cobble together one of our AS projects... and upload it.

Hope you guys like it!

(the site sucks in ie6 ... I hate ie 6...working on it)

Great work. I'd love to see that as a movie.

You'll just make me cranky (crankier) if you keep showing off like that! Looks great.

That's great, Angry Monster. When she run's on the water it reminds me of Punyo by the Cliff.

Where did you learn to program with the iPhone SDK? I'm pretty lost, I haven't made anything too advanced and I cant find a good tutorial I understand.

And when you say you used ActionScript- does that mean it runs on the iPhone, or something else?
