I think most Moho users on this forum, including myself, could benefit from using more of these kinds of quick motions ... the tendency for the newbie is to make every motion too smooth, because the software tends to lend itself to that. Very nice. :)

Hello, could you re-post your animations? I would love to look at them, because of your description of how you did them and because I also use Painter.

Thanks, Udd.

I'd forgottten how good this is -- great walk with the cat, too!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I don't see why you should be getting an error message, it's just an ordinary quicktime movie. Unless you mean the original link from way back when, in which case, I took the files down from the server after a while.

Thanks for the new link. Very nice animation and background. I am looking at it also in terms of the cats head turning as you mentioned. I have been studying different animations and I see they use the same technique. Simple, but effective. No complicated problems for the animator, especially for the computer animator who otherwise is relying on automated in-betweens for realistic movement.
I also looked at the other animations on your website. Very nice. What programs do you use for animation?

Mostly Flash, but I recently got Toonboom Animate and TvPaint and now I use the latter for rough "pencil" animation and the former for cleaning up/ink & paint. Eventually I'll probably leave Flash completely. I still hope to get back to Moho some day.
