All animation will be done in AS. Compositing, like usual, will be done in Combustion.jhbmw007 wrote:Nickeloden, huh? Are you allowed to divulge any more on that? ;) Will it be done primarily in AS? Because I don't know of any major network cartoons that are- it would be interesting to see one!
We are finishing a series of Idents for Nick International at the moment which were animated in AS.
We also just finished a set of sponser bumbers for NickToons which was produced 100% in AS, even comp.
We have just started a blog, which will be covering all that we do (though at the moment there isn't much there) we'll endevour to update it regularly, this is where we'll post stuff on our show.

Books are hard... I may just forget the book idea and publish a series of pamphlets.
It is really great to see someone working for a major cable network like Nickeloden and producing the work using AS exclusively. This means that in reality most places don't care what you use as long as the work speaks for itself in quality and you meet all the deadlines.
There are those... I won't mention by name because there are many... who feel what Greykid is doing is impossible to do using AS because of lack of features and other issues.
Keep up the good work you guys! You give us all hope!
p.s. I would love to design some custom scripted "rigs" for any of your characters if you're ever interested. Just an experiment. I seem to be more prolific on the scripting end then animation these days.
I am stuck on my mirror bones script at the moment. Mirroring multiple parented bones is tricky to say the least. It's almost done though.

At present it still is on hold, the company is expanding and going through a new phase in its life.DominiqueBray wrote:Any news about this book from GreyKid ?
The shows for Nick are now finished and we'll unveil them soon.
We have a couple of other productions to tie up then we'll see where we are with the book at the end of the year.
