Bendito - pure genius

Post by jeff »

I can highly recommend a visit to the Bendito Machine website, where you can view the two episodes they've completed so far.

This stuff could easily be achieved in AS. Not only is the weird storyline a joy, the soundtracks are also beautifully crafted. If you've not heard of Bendito, give it a try and be inspired.

Err, if I remember correctly, the Bendito Machine animation WAS created with Moho, the predecessor of Anime Studio Pro.

I thought it was done using Flash but I don't remember where I read that. I just had a quick "Google" and found this page:

http://www.downturk.info/software/6496- ... -pro5.html

which reviews AS and states that Bendito Machine was made using Moho.

Ah, then it seems my memory has served me well :D

I saw the animation again on Channel Frederator (I believe two years ago), and I think it has been entered successfully in some animation contests. It is cut-out animation, and has a strong resemblance of shadow puppetry (Wayang).

Yeah, I always thought this was the best thing ever done in Anime Studio.
