It seems like it's a while ago bakenius posted anything. Have you forgotten us? I serch site, and I found out, that the movie is actually finished. I hope, that it's okay, that i link to the finished movie.
You can find it here:

Btw, it's a very nice animation movie. I wathed many times, because it has a lot of life. Did you create the animations in AS and then composed the scenes in After Effects, or is it completely done with AS?
The Music is also fantastic and of a very high quality What did you do, since this guy created the soundtrack? Do you know him or did you pay him (how much?)

Hey bakenius, Just finished watching your film and I loved it!
Usually when I watch something done in AS i start trying to work out how it was done, but with Marin I just got sucked into the story and thoroughly enjoyed it! That is a great achievement well done!
I echo everyone elses comments in that it looks and sounds fantastic, im sure we'll be seeing more of your work in the future as you've obviously got talent.
Good luck with the future,
Donnie

I watched your storyboard before seeing the finished piece. The storyboard promised much, and you delieved. If your cartoon were to be put up against the big studios efforts, I wouldn't have known it didn't come from one.
I loved the story from the beginning. To me, in anything I do, the story is everything. Without a story, everything I do is just a test animation.
This is your masterpiece (for the moment). Would like to see more from you!

hrm. I was yet to post about the final animation here, but that doesn't seem necessary anymore.
But yes, it is finished. And I couldn't be more happy about the end result.
And yes, Alexander Reumers is a brilliant composer and made my film that much better with his music and sound design. He still studying and did the music for my film between his vacation and the new semester.
Now I hope to get real animation work out of this film...

Just returned from Stuttgart Animation Festival where I saw Marin in a student's film program. It looked very nice on the big screen. Couldn't spot any visual flaws, very clean result. The whole film seems a bit slow to me, but that's a matter of taste.
And we (the forum) are mentioned in the credits!
