Create custom keyboard shortcuts in Anime Studio or Moho

Post by mooncaine »

Originally this topic covered Moho; it remains useful for ASP users [and probably AS users, but I can't test that].

Create custom keyboard shortcuts in Anime Studio or Moho
viewtopic.php?t=2124

[Basically, you edit a certain text file, give it a certain name, and the next time the program starts, it loads those shortcuts].

Stop interpolation between 2 identical actions?

Post by mooncaine »

When you use Actions in ASP on a Switch layer, and the Switch layer is set to interpolate, ASP will add unwanted motion between your Actions, even identical ones. You can disable interpolation, if you like, or you can keep interpolation enabled and use one of the 2 tips described here:

viewtopic.php?t=7803

One of the tips is something you do before you start using Actions on a timeline, but the other can be used if you've already inserted Actions and don't want to do that work again.

[Actions are not in AS; only in the Pro version]

Thanks mooncaine. I am interested in Actions since I watched Darths videos :) I am going to copy down all the info into my little notebook for future reference.

This animation stuff is beginning to get a grip of me!

I'll update a little later this weekend, for the time being, compile away - the work put into finding resources is great.

Hello,

Sorry i haven't updated this. I will when i get a lot of spare time, which is rare right now.

Our lovely forum member, jahnocli, has submitted a file for everyone to look at. It's basically a character that's rigged up. This is appropriate for the resource section as it's good for seeing how someone has structure character building and how various methods work.

The file is available to download here.

The File is provided as it is, no help/instructions are provided. Please do not ask for help in this thread. As i said, this is a resource for study etc.

hi cribble, you should add to head turns this new genete's script:
Poses
even when it has some issues (our great scripters are working on them), it works great.

The file is no longer available there. Is there another link to the file being hosted for the OJJ_walk1.anme ?

Hi all,

I was doing some housekeeping on a backup hard drive, and found this old file:

walking jack

It was built using Moho 5.6 (the original Moho!), so it's a little old-fashioned. It's based on one of the characters made available by Smiley Guy Studios a l-o-o-o-n-g time ago from their Odd Job Jack TV series. I re-saved it in Moho 12 format (yes, I finally coughed up), because of the amazing space savings with the new format - great job, guys! Use it without warranty if you are interested...
