File-> Render? Please Help!!!

Post by smcverry »

Hi.

I am extremly new to Anime Studio. I just downloaded it and have done the first two tutorials. In both tutorials, AS asked me to go to File-> Render. Mousing over "File" I find no Render. I looked everywhere for Render, but could not find it. Any help? Am I not looking somwhere I should?

No, you're not doing anything wrong. The render option was left out of the non-pro version, though it's still mentioned in the tutorials. I think render is scheduled to be reinstated in an upcoming update, but, until then, you can still export your work as video, you just can't do the single frame render.

thank you very much for the clarification!

one more question, without that render option is their no way to view changes made to shapes, such as "soft edges"?

I always just export a brief snippet as an avi (a few frames is generally enough just to see what the shape will look like).
