how to add more than one voice to an animation

Perhaps it is possible to have two switch layers but only the one soundtrack. The main character would be using the soundtrack with the switch using that audio as well. The second character could be using a different switch with different audio that could not be heard.(since it is not imported as a soundtrack,but only as the second switch layer audio) so therefore just export your animation then import it into an editing program like Vegas video,then add the second characters audio file. His mouth should already be moving from that "muted" switch layer. Savvy?
