How to change to a specific frame of an Image Sequence??

Post by Gibble »

How do I change to a specific frame of an image sequence while on Frame 0?
I am building a hand using a switch layer. [See attached]
I imported an Image Sequence to use as reference for the hands.
But how do I change to another frame for reference while I am in Build Mode/Frame 0??

There is probably a simpler way but you could make your image sequence a switch layer and just move to the next image to create your other layers. Maybe import your image sequence individually so they come in as separate images.

This sounds like something I am presently doing. But maybe not. . .

Just in case it is, here's my solution: Go to the frame that you want to use as hand reference, create your vector art as usual, copy the keyframes and paste them into frame 0, then delete the original keyframes. Do this for every hand reference.

Thanks for the great suggestions! That worked perfectly. I created a switch layer and imported the reference images individually [not a sequence] and that works exactly as I need.
Thanks for the help! Much appreciated!!!
