Re instal software

Hi, so my Solid state drive failed and i had to get a new one. How do I reinstal Moho witbout having to buy a new download. I think it was moho 12, i got it 2 years ago

You should have the installer in the Backup? Preferrably the one which doesn't need online activation?

after installlation it's just typing in serial number.

You can redownload the Moho 12 installer (final) from: https://my.smithmicro.com - and then you will need your licence key.

I highly recommend upgrading. Version 12 was released 8 years ago, and Lost Marble has improved Moho significantly since then. Plus, some of the more interesting scripts that have come out recently will only run on Moho 14.1.

Thank u guys for the reply, Ugg, I dont know where the serial is, I downloaded from the site when I bought it ,i didnt have an actual package. I wS hoping the site would recognize my info or something and I would redownload if it was possible

Ask Lost Marble. If the serial number was registered under your name, Lost Marble might have it. I'm sure they have Smith Micro's old registered user list to verify who qualifies for the discounted upgrade to 14.

Alternatively, if you have access to a drive where Moho was previously installed and activated, I believe there is a system file there with the serial number.

Oh, also, search your mail account for a receipt. If this was an online purchase, it might have your serial number in it.

In the future, keep a list of all your serial numbers in a text doc or spreadsheet. My own list tracks serial numbers going back to the early 2000's, and it's saved my butt many times.
