question: How to create disconnected stroke with minimum points

Post by skk »

Hello. Please give me an advice!

I'm trying to make a model with disconnected stroke as you can see in the image below.
(It is only a reference and what I'm trying to make has a little bit more complicated shape)

Image

Next image below is a moho model I created.
left image: added some points and thinner stroke width → but the stroke width gets thin towards the end point.
right image: added more points to adjust the width → It looks good but too many points

I want minimum points for the setup.
So if there is a good way, please teach me!

Thank you.

Hi!
It looks like you're using the Line Width tool and since you're tinning the line, you need those extra points.
If you try the Hide Edge tool - you'll need just two points, where you want the path to be disconnected.
