Timer

Post by Hoptoad »

This idea may be a little wacky, but please consider it.

What if Moho had a built-in timer? Perhaps located on the animation toolbar?

The animator could set the timer to twenty-five minutes or an hour or whatever they want, and click START. After the time passes, Moho indicates that the time has passed. A bell sound? A pop-up message?

I need to remember to take more breaks.

Thanks.

I'd suggest using your phone or computer. Windows 11 comes with a Focus timer to notify for breaks.

I just use the timer on my phone. Works fine. This is especially helpful to remind me about scheduled meetings. One advantage is that when I move away from the computer for a while, I can take the phone with me. ("Hey, is that an alarm I hear in the bathroom?") :D

I'm sure there are apps for desktop computers that do this, too. Years ago, when I was freelancing at home, I used one to help me track my work hours.

I have used this many times while I work, mostly trying to not dedicate more time to a task than I have. It's just a website so it works in your Pc, tablet, ipad, smartphone...
