Midi to control animation?

Hi everyone.

I haven't been here in awhile. I been writing and doing music so I just got a midi keyboard controller.

I'm wondering how hard would it be to have a midi keyboard controller to change functions and smart bones in Moho.

I'm taking having Midi mapping the same as a DAW. Where one would click on a Midi map button and then a smart bone and map it to a knob or slider on a midi controller? The keys could be mapped to the layers. (press a key on the controller and I'm on the corresponding layer.) The play and record button on the controller would control the time line. And the pads would control preset poses.

I think it a good idea, I also know it would take a lot of programming and I'm wondering if LUA has midi imputation to handle this with out bogging Moho down with a ton of overhead.
