Heart / Lung Medical Animation

Post by bliss_infinite »

Hi all,

I've experimented a bit with AS about a year ago and was recently lucky enough to persuade my job to pick it up for our animation projects. This is a sample from a lung & heart cycle that I completed a couple of weeks ago. All was rendered in AS and the blood flow and lung movement was all point animation while the heart walls were rigged with bones.

Sorry for the bad quality video, couldn't figure out how to improve it.

Looks great.

I also use AS to make animations for instructional purposes.
I made one for a company in Ca to show all the planets and their orbits around the sun and I made one for a school district in TX for trigonometry.
Sorry for bad animation

Thanks all!

I've done some medical illustrations in the past but none were really 'gross' but I've seem some disturbing pictures that I wish I hadn't! Glad I don't have to animate those!
