This is just a single stroke on a single layer, normal blending mode.

Yup , there be a bug.
We can probably see this getting patched really soon.
In the meantime I would make this a style for changing en mass and I would tint the brush to the closest colour (which looks ok ) until the fix for this is available.

I can confirm that I'm not using any Blending Modes other than "Normal" - if you start a brand new file and make a stroke using the brush I provided, it immediately displays the problem.

Re: Custom Brushes not rendering correctly (pictures!)
Thanks braj and chucky! Sad that this is a bug, but at least I have a workaround (using multiple tinted brushes).
Hopefully this gets patched so we truly are getting what we're seeing on the stage. Seems only fair, right?

A fix should be coming in the upcoming version 11.1. I just checked in the fix, and we'll run it through some testing.
Re: Custom Brushes not rendering correctly (pictures!)
Excellent!
Thanks 'Lost Marble' ...whoever you are
@PaperWaspNest , I had totally forgotten that I had actually spotted and reported this bug some time ago when working up some content Chucky Add-On but through the intense flurry of activity that was going on prior to V11 ( with all its ground breaking development), it must have got pushed back. Unfortunately release dates must get carved in stone and no amount of good intentions can stop them ( I am guessing here, ).
The good thing is that when Lost Marble puts out a patch, you really notice it and there are normally some feature treats as well.

Re: Custom Brushes not rendering correctly (pictures!)
Sweet! Thanks for working towards fixing it, guys
So this won't be coming to 'ol v10, right? I'm still on 10. I'll have to wait for another sale...
Well, in the mean time, a workaround I came up with was using two different monochromatic/tinted brushes on top of each other.
Here is the result:

I really like how it looks. In fact it looks better than before! Now I'm concentrating on completing the rig. Animal characters are tough to do head turns for...

V11 is well worth the upgrade, so much stuff in there
