nice aquarelle texture in anime studio 9

Post by ahzra »

i dont know if so many would find this very important . but its important for me as i like to bind bones to point not by bone strength when rigging . so when i use image texture it deforms the image texture...so when i was playing with splotch effect i found that when i gave both the magnitude and scale numbers between (6~9 ).. the result was wonderful aquarelle texture ...so it could be very useful for people who want to use aquarelle effect without deforming their rigging when they bind to point..

does it flicker when you export a video? or does it stay stable?
It's nice to give a bit of texture like this, to make things look less flat.

the only problem that when the shape move it act like if it is moving on mask not fixed inside the boundary of the shape . i dont know why... but seems better than using image texture till now... i really wish smith micro can solve this problem next time.

it is moving somehwat - it must be somehow tied in to the rigging - it may move, like textures, with bone influence? This means it might freeze when you use smart bone actions... perhaps run some experiments using different rigging types :)

lol :D what a surprise ..i rigged it with bone strength it gave me the same result exactly with no deformation...here it is

p.s i used smart bones in both rigging

the results look different to me, though both have some movement (less in the second one)

the idea is that i dont want the color to move at all . though its much better than image texture when bind to point rigging

if you dont want it to move, why not put a solid colour layer above with the effect and set it to a blending mode? that would give an overall texture?

well, one layer would just provide the texture - actually its more simple than filling every shape with the splotchy effect?

could you please funksmaname make me AS file to illustrate how to do this rigging . cause what in my mind says that it give the same result as splotchy.. may be iam wrong
