How to align points

Post by Atout66 »

Hi all,

Any idea on how to align different points standing on a same line ?
I need it for perspective purpose (building contruction in a city), and don't find any tool to align on last point selected or on a virtual grid or on X or Y axis...

With the translate tool, I have the X and Y axis, but when I select all the points on the line and enter an X coordinate for all points, it seems to move points only by the offset but NOT to the new X coordinate entered.
In fact it's easy to control with the Translate point tool (T) and by clicking on each point. The X coordinates are not the same.
So, I can do the job by copy / paste the X coordinate of reference to each point one by one, but what I wonder is if there's a tool which do the job for the selected points...

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english.

You know there's a grid in AS? Settings under "view".

What I do: first create points with the grid, then switch off the grid, then select them line by line, then rotate them to match perspective.
