Post by kaboom »

Every time I open anime studio I have to rearrange my windows...how do I save my setup?

Also, can others post screen shots of their setups, I wanna have some ideas of how to most efficiently setup my env.

Only some of of the workspace state is saved on exit. For example, the Toolbox, Style, Layer, and Timeline palettes are "remembered", but the Action palette and workspace windows don't AFAIK.

Workspace is a fairly individual and depends on the task at hand. For example, for creating actions, I dismiss the Style palette and keep the Action and Layer Palettes open. For animating, just the Layer and Timeline is typical. And for construction, the Layer and Style palettes are a must.

I would recommend you use the hotkeys to turn palette on or off as needed.

For Windows:
ctrl+[ -- Timeline
ctrl+] -- Style
ctrl + k -- Action

You can also cascade palettes, one palette overlapping another, and click on the corner to bring the one you want to focus.

I'm sure can come up your own clever ideas.
