Problem assigning bones to vector layers

Post by Mendi »

When these vector layers are inside group layers, which are also into a skeleton, I don't have the chance to bind the points of the vector layers i nside group layers to the bone layer. Is this a bug or am I doing anything wrong?
Greetings.

I presume you have to put another Bone-Layer
into the Group-Layer and the Vector-Layers into this Bone-Layer.
Makes a Rig sometimes a little complicated, but works.

Well it does work, bur is a mess not being capable of reusing my entire bone set and having to redraw and configure it. I guess the less bad solution is to get those vector layers out of their group layers, in a less structurated set up.

Yes, you're right - I think that's a good idea.

If you like, please have a look at my file
"Walk in the park" and have a look at the
"Animator" - File.

Thank you Nolan, that seemed a great exhibition of technique :). A very complete set Up. If possible, I prefer dividing the scene into several shots, but as reference I reckon it's great.

On the other hand, I didn't found that animator file you said.

Thanks and greetings.

Yes, nowadays I prefer as well creating my scenes in small parts
and assembling them later in an Composition-Editor.

Regarding the file you didn't found :
Open the Foreground Group File, further down there should be
somewhere the Animator Group File - I hope so ?!?
