A bit more on MorphDials (updated with install vid)

Post by funksmaname »

My previous experiments with MDs has been really to test their abilities - but recently I've had a chance to use them in production which had me using them in a much more subtle way.

This video explains what morphs are for, as well as showing a practical example where they are used to make a character read a book.

I also show why NOT to use the 'Blend Morphs' option that came with Anime Studio... use Rudiger's morph dials instead.

instalation is simple - i made a short video:

Yeah Funk, that's pretty awesome!!! I saw the video on morph dials a looong time ago but I didn't know how to use and install scripts but after watching that video I'm convinced I need to just learn how to do it. It looks like such an amazing tool I'm kind of shocked that it hasn't just been implemented into the program itself. While I know a user made it, you would think smithmacro would acquire this tool to give AS a one up on the competition!!! Thanks for sharing the video and resparking my interest in it!!!!!!

You're welcome.
Installation is realy easy - i'll make a 2 minute video later showing how to do it. the most complicated (?) part is registering your buttons in your tools.txt file.

I'll also go over some baking basics.

I'm still no expert with this, there's a lot of options i've not yet played with! but maybe someone I get started will work them out and show me how to use them lol :)

This script dose not work with 10 and I haven't tried it with 9.
Lua has change the syntax. So the script need an update by someone who knows all the changes.
