Dragon Skunk (opening sequence)

Post by super8mm »

http://dragonskunk.com/

Go to the videos section and click on Opening Sequence.

The story: A feral homeless girl named Marfa who claims was born a skunk but grew into human form. She lives in the poorest of the inner city. She lives adventures of a superhero without anything about her life resembling anything to do with a superhero.

I'm currently animating the story to be released with this intro.

Enjoy!

I think you could sell your inner city setup! I think I would be interested in it if it's not too much!

Finally got to the site, had to disable my anti-malware software though.

Great work, have not done too many of those yet, and certainly not at that scale, impresive.

How long did it take you to build the set, do you place them by hand, or do you calculate your moves as I do?

Again, great work!

I wrote my site hosting about the malware since now more than one had told me about that problem.

I visualize the scenes in my head and make the sets to match. Sometimes I have to simplify what I imagine in terms of complexity. Sometimes I get my inspiration from real life.

My inner city, I can't sell that! I could make custom cities perhaps, but selling my cities would be like Matt Groening selling Springfield. :P

For me now, it's back to making episode zero to go with it. Zero as opposed to 1 which I made the original script for but needed to make more back story first.

Wow, super8, very nice!

I have two questions :D

At 0:10 - how did you do that 3d effect?
At 0:30 - same with legs, is that 3d or some kind of fake depth?
