Animating for a more realistic quality

Post by [AIPstuMA&A]franman »

I tend to get a lot of references from google images, like doors, the house through the window in the desk scene was traced over and changed slightly, the desk, the computer...

pretty much what i do is find a reference or draw it by hand and trace it in moho, that way i can have more of an idea as to whhat it'll look like in the end. cuz i need that for my own sake...

i also take a lot of textures from the 3d Studio Max Library and edit them in photoshop to give it that cartoonish quality or find a texture on google

just type "_____ texture" in google images
The Art Institutes' "Moho Guy" as called by my animation teacher...

I often do the same. So many things in the world seem oh so simple until you sit down and try to draw it!
