2.5D Fingers / Legs / Arms experiments.

Postby Lychee » Wed Aug 09, 2017 12:13 pm

I will post here my 2.5D experiences on the fingers, legs, arms ... to have your help in order to improve them.

11.05.2017: Leg test

here is my last test to create a 2.5D leg, check the video part 1 (part 2 will come soon):

And the file:

08.09.2017: Finger ariculation and hand test

I create a new type of articulation for the fingers (you can use it for Something else), here is a video of the operation.

After that I managed to make an entire hand composed by this articulation.

Here are the files of these experiences, feel free to explore them and give me your suggestions for improvements.

Wow. Brilliant results. I'll have to see how you did it when I have the time to dedicate to it.

Lychee. That is just freaking awesome. The hand is so lightweight too and was very easy to operate.
Well done!!!

I work to improve my fake 3d puppets and here is my last Test.

My construction is still too complicated to explain it and that is why I would not share this file.
But you will find above a video to explain the basics of my idea.
As usual feel free to simplify and make improvement on your side.

Best regards.

Lychee,
Pretty amazing! It renews my interest in 2.5D. Boy, to just have more time to try these things out.
