FrametoFrame emulation

Post by galloAnm »

Hi.

I would like to create this kind of effect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzcrhgMBNq4
I mean a kind of fade between frames.
In that video is clear that it was made frametoframe. But if I wanted to create a similiar effect (maybe using fade effect in Premiere on my animated video), would it be possible? In wich way?

A water color effect can be done with brushes. In stead of a fill you can use lines with a brush that will give a similar effect.

In conjunction with Dale's suggestion, a very low frame rate might be enough?

Not sure about the fading - you might be able to render to individual sequential frames then load into Premiere with a brief fade transition to give you intermediate frames, as you suggest.

I did some research. The Dam keeper was animated with TV paint on fours.
