3d Drawing Aid

Post by dkwroot »

I've recently started using this site to help with my drawings. Basically, it's a 3d model search engine that allows you to look for and interact with 3d models. I found this to be extremely useful for referencing objects at off angles.

I Googled Yobi3d and it sounds cool, but this link does not work. Nor does any other URL I've tried.

I just get "This webpage is not available."

I gave this a go when this was first posted and was impressed with what was there - it's a useful resource --- just tried again and no problems here
e.g. https://www.yobi3d.com/#!/search?q=elephant

The site requires you to have cookies turned on. No Thanks I'll pass.
Sorry for bad animation

That's odd. Wasn't working for me yesterday, but it is today.

I am really amazed with how mature web browsers have become in rendering 3D graphics. Cool search engine for finding 3D models of everything. I am working on wayfinding design and i am going to search things related to it.
