Tips on blurring?

Post by tonym »

I use "blur" a lot (under the Layer Settings) and I love it. But on certain specific occasions I find that blur blurs too much. The minimum blur setting is 1 pixil, so the only setting lower is 0 pixils, which is no blurring at all. And you can't input decimals.

Do you (or you, or you) have any tips for blurring a layer only a tiny bit in Anime Studio Pro?

Also, is there way to blur an individual shape on a layer without blurring other shapes on a layer?

I am talking about version 6.2, by the way. If version 7 has more blur control, please let me know.

Thanks.

You can give the fill and the stroke soft edges to simulate blur.

In AS7 it is the same as AS6. 1 is the lowest.
Sorry for bad animation

The pixel refers to the individual square on your monitor, so even if you could do a decimal of a pixel, you wouldn't be able to see it.
