Simple and effective arm with negative curvature

Hi, I just discovered a technique which works great to create very simply arms which bend perfectly.

(You will need Fazek's curvature tool to can add negative values on curvature)

Here you have a file to see what I'm talking about

Now a little tutorial

- First create a very basic arm/leg with only six points

- Then animate the bone on any frame, you should obtain something like this

- Now, on the same frame, select a middle point and give it a negative curvature, for example -0.1. You will obtain this, a very good looking arm

Now, how to make it in movement, you must to animate curvature each time you bend the arm. As curvature is animated, you can have a simply arm which can turn for both side without problems.
I know it requires to be always working on curvature (but you can copy and paste frames always), but maybe a script could animate that curvature automatically depending of the angle of the bone, what do you say?

Anyway, negative curvature is great, you should experiment with it for some other shapes.

awesome! thank you very much

I'm afraid the script is a bit old and replacing the file may cause some errors, so what can I add to lm_curvature.lua to make this work?

edit: it's working now, thanks

Do you know how to bend at the shoulders?
