Just trying out a new character...

Post by Dr. Nick »

This is no epic 'toon or anything ~~ just a little gag I whipped up for my Kayak polo club's website. I haven't paid any attention to details so it currently looks plain. Any thoughts on how to make waves (create a wave effect) in the pool?

(Oh and just in case you're wondering, our team mascot is a lobster. We're from New England...)

lol... funny.
Its amazing how anticipation can help toons

I was watching the vid, and the timer go by, thinking - is something wrong? nothings happening... and then after what seemed like ages (but not too long) the character came really fast into shot with a crazy face... made me giggle.

He looks like a very malevolent lobster! Great character, well drawn. I'm sure the team will love it. Sorry - complete newbie here and I know nothing about waves, but someone will help soon I'm sure.

This is exactly the effect I was going for. This feedback is really good to know ~~ pregnant pause but not too long.

That's right ~~ Kayak polo is a full contact sport...
