Cut Out Animations!

Post by CrAzY Dan »

I have been away for a long, long while and I am back with some small projects to show you.

I used Anime Studio to draw the characters and used the method of stop-motion animation to animate. I cut out individual pieces of paper to do this animation.

Enjoy and please leave comments...

Thanks

Daniel,

Thanks and good work. I like the "old-timey" feel. One question: why did you not animate in AS, why did you use stop-motion? Was it for the "old-timey" feel? I can imagine recreating those lighting effects in AS would be much harder than deriving them in an organic way.

Cheers

Thanks for your reply...

I am using stop-motion as, personally, I find it easier to do than AS. I also feel the when I have finished a piece of stop-motion, it feels like more of an achivement than finishing something in AS.

Hope that answers your question.
