Occupational Health & Safety

Post by mrc »

Hello, everyone,

here's a series of animations to motivate employees to immediately speak up if they spot dangerous behaviour at work.

https://www.tricklabor.com/en/portfolio ... nd-safety/

They are my third 2D/Moho animation project. I did the rigging and animation (in Moho, of course), while two lovely colleagues provided the illustrations, and another two did the sound design. Each time I had about a week to turn the Adobe Illustrator files into a minute of animation.

The clips are sorted from newest to oldest, so I suggest you watch them from bottom to top to see the illustration style evolve.

Cheers,
Marc

did you use moho's physics engine for that shot with the collapsing storage shelves? pretty impressive for a week per shot!

Thanks.

Yes, I used Moho's rigid body physics for the shelves. The shelf elements are vector rectangles with different image textures. It was tedious to set up and, of course, the contents of the shelves stay put while the whole block tumbles. But that's all I could do within the limited budget.

That's great! It's very well made and entertaining.

Thanks for sharing the video and technical explanations.

I added a new video to the top of the list, the subject of which is unfortunately still valid.
