Animated 3D Globe

Post by jezjones29 »

This was created 100% in Moho. It's done using a movie as a texture to a 3D layer.

Inspired by this I took the semi circle (just 3 control points!) from the file shared on https://www.animestudiotutor.com/link/455/ added my own movie as a texture and played with the Bezier handles on the control points... this is the result...

I had never imagined just what can be achieved with 3d lathe effect and playing with path curvatures on those 3 control points! -- 100% Moho!

Nice work hayasidist!

You can also place the camera inside the shape for more effects. Yesterday I created some groovy gifs like this:

You could do the same and animate the points for an interesting perspective.

Is this a candy-striped hadron collider I see before me?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
