Happy 2017

It was a bit hard to maintain a light mood during 2016. Let's hope 2017 is better, for everyone.

Because of the extreme zoom in, AS had difficulties to render the texture in the numbers (just a masked layer), it just displays grey. It happened with bitmaps as well as vectors, so I finally made a vector texture, duplicated it, and in one version I enlarged the vector artwork 10x while reducing the layer by 0,1 (and changed the blur from 2 to 20 px). Did a switch between the two versions, and voilá.

The whole idea was a dream I had on the morning of 1.1. I even dreamt the AS setup.
AS 9.5 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
AS 11 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
Moho 13.5 iMac Quadcore 2,9GHz 16GB OS 10.15

That's looks great slowtiger! Thanks for sharing the animation and your vision.

I ran into a problem with Moho dropping a texture recently--it rendered gray as you described. I was trying to render a piece intended for print marketing at super-high res, like 8k or so. I had many dozens of 2k and 4k textures in the scene, which rendered fine for HD, but it probably 'broke' the renderer at the 8k size. I wound up rendering the image at a lower res that Moho could handle and upscaling the output using a third party program. Not ideal but it got the job done.

Happy New Year! :)
