Apothecary Apocalypse

Post by CSCorbridge »

So this is a sequel to a short that I made 2 or 3 years ago. All in all I'm pretty pleased with it; if anyone watches this who happens to have seen the original short, I hope my development as an animator will be noticeable.

The one criticism I'm bracing for is the use of photography rather than artwork for some backgrounds. Yes, part of that stems from laziness, but even moreso it's that my main intended audience are my coworkers - so for them, images from the workplace add to the short rather than detract. So its a bit of a wash.

Comments and constructive criticism welcome. Hope you enjoy the bit.

The photo backdrop is a great style. It's that way in the Adventures of Gumball on Nickelodeon as well...

I've thought about doing the same thing because I really like how it looks.
