What wonderful work! It's also fantastic to see animation used to make the world a better place.

Hey Chuck,

thanks for the comments, actually the gum trees are grown to produce paper. We have a especial breed of Eucalypt with longer fibers...perfect for paper production.

Best,

Thanks synthsin75, it has been a while. I'm slowly getting back into it all again.

Great work João,

Presume you work in AfterEffects too for the compositing. Would love to hear about your work flow from Moho to AE.

So far I've gone with planning shots in Illustrator, animate in Moho characters and export on an alpha channel as png or mov, bring into AE and composite. Along the way a few things I keep track of is after importing into AE, I make sure colour management is off for the footage, so it doesn't have a 'faded' look.

Hey Formxshape,

thank you for the remark,

I work all the concept in Photoshop, and i make a mix between bitmap and vector moho based assets for the most extreme animnation elements. Then, like you i export on png seq´s, never mov (i prefer to have the images separated). All the composite is done in After, where i work the image to remove as much of the digital vector as possible and i go back to the original Photoshop file to keep the compression as low as possible. Usually all the animation is done on 2´s.

If you like we could meet online and i could show you a walkthrough of my process and exchange some ideas.

Thank you again for the complements.

Hope you like it!

I know enough Spanish to pick up bits about migration from winter to spring, but what language is that? Portuguese?
