Looking fantastic! be nice to have a random red/orange colour flicker on the character lighting (once animating)... really cool stuff!

Thank you everyone! :D I'm excited to finally animate a campfire scene. Funksmaname, I love the idea of animating the color of the light. That would be a really cool effect.

Here is a rough fire cycle animation I created with AS's new frame by frame feature. It looks like youtube "optimized" my thumbnail. :\

Cool (well, since it's fire, maybe I should say hot) :-) Looking good either way

Yes, the fire animation is nice.

Just a thought, it seems a little slow-motion for fire...but maybe that's what you're going for?

Overall, the scene is looking great! Looking forward to seeing further developments to your project. :)

I like it, and I think the slower motion fire fits the style.

Thanks for the input, guys! I tried speeding up the fire, but I might have made it too fast. I put it with the song from this scene and also some background music for this scene to test if the fire speed fits with the music. I'm tempted to animate the rock shadows on the grass, but that might be overkill.

Warning, the audio is pretty loud this time. Apologies.

Looks great, and I'd definitely animate the rock shadow.

I don't think the fire is too fast at all in the new version. Take a look at footage of an actual camp fire playing at normal speed--it moves much faster.

That said, I think your fire now looks about right for the mood. That's just my personal opinion of course--in the end, you should do what you feel is right for your project. :)
