A little bit of a South Park style :]

Post by DetoNaToR »

Me and my friend started a new project with some South Park (I love this cartoon :D ) style. He is creating script and all jokes and I am responsible for all animations, characters and all graphic elements. I don't want to do it very similar to SP so we will only use a few details from SP, because it's our inspiration :D . It's everything in MOHO (I love MOHO so much :) ) Here is a link to a screenshot of our cartoon's first scene ;)

Yeah I know :) And that's good because I don't want it to look exactly like SP because as I said I took a few details from SP eg. smile (middle character) eyes, cap. And they are all standing in bus station :)

I think Jorgy's sarcasim was lost....it looks exactly like south park...but it looks very cool! Do you have any short clips of the animation you can post?

Sounds like a very cool project, good luck with it!

thanks mwtoons 8)

No I don't have any yet, but I obviously will have shortly. However, it's in our language so you won't understand any jokes, but I hope you will like my work on characters and animation :]

SP and MOHO rocks! :D

I downloaded Papagayo a few days ago and it's another superb program from Lost Marble. I am working on Lip-sync for that cartoon right now.

Lost Marble you are unbelievable! Your software is awesome! ;)

How do you think, does the hand movements of the first character look like in SP while he's talking? I tried to do something similar and I want to hear your opinion if I have succeeded.

That test looks neat! :D

It really felt like I was watching South Park (with the immediate hand movements and all). The only thing I would suggest is that the guy with the cigarette didn't put his arm down all of a sudden. Make that immediate, too like the other hand movements.

Other than that, I think it's coming along good. :)

Thanks Rolz :)

I am a big fan of SP and I watch almost every episode of it, therefore I noticed that characters do not only immediate movements but also smooth ones, it gives more dynamics to the cartoon. But anyway thanks for your opinion. :)
