My First Animation - Luntid & Pungut

Post by Kevner »

Hi there fellow animators,

I've just registered with the forum couple of days ago.
Here is my not-so-interesting-1st animation.
There's still so much that I need to improve though.

I'd appreciate if there's any comments/suggestions/tricks/techniques from the pros here :)

I like it. The characters have personality, they communicate without words, you have dynamic timing, and you already use some of the more elaborate tricks of animation. I'm looking forward to see you improving!

Thanks for your comment :D

I think there are two ways to get the shaking/wiggling effects. The simplest way is to turn on the dynamic feature of a specific bone which is bind to specific vector points. The other way is to animate the vector points manually (which I have used on my animation since I haven't quite mastered the bone rigging yet).

The most important thing is to identify what suppose to stay static and what suppose to shake/wiggle/follow (hair, clothing, accessories, etc.) when a movement has stopped. Hope my explanation helps.
