I think the spookiness referred to above is connected with the dark facial hair on at least one of the babies. Reminded me of baby Pubert in "Addams Family Values".

I also agree with the remark about production values. It's one thing to raise something here as a work in progress or something -- it's something else to put it out there on a DVD. Your production values are way too low for this, in my opinion. But hey -- it IS just my opinion...

Just a couple of comments about your web site. You need to make your link more "foolproof" with less flashing. First of all you have a flashing line that says something like "see the trailer" or some such...many viewers would expect to click on the flashing words to see the trailer...but the link is actually the photo. A bit of advice...never make your viewer have to think or even guess. Put a link on those flashing words...or at least direct them to the picture. Secondly, that flashing Buy Now is somewhat out of character with the nature of the product you are selling, IMHO. Flashing "buy now" signs are more in keeping with used cars than with subjects of a theological nature(at least, I hope so). I would use something like "available now" with a link embedded...and NO FLASHING. You really never want to have 2 flashing objects in close proximity...it is the psychological equivalent of "hey, look at me"...No, look here at ME" ...Never set up conflicts in your viewers' minds...it not only confuses...it irritates.

I don't think an animation forum is the right place to discuss religion or my stand in that matter but to use this kind of material to impose religious beliefs on the minds of young children who pretty much believe everything they see and hear is just mean.
Isn't this aimed at a Christian audience? I think most parents who are Christian want thier kids to see stuff that teaches them "Godly Values" as the website states. I think it's fine to make religious cartoons.

the fact, that u sell this is unbelievable.
first of all it is the production quality is low, as many bugs and mistakes show up in the trailer.
another aspect is: low quality and high commercialisation combined.
I have to agree w/ mr. blaaa on this. The production quality on this is horrible and the fact that you actually think people will buy this is amazing. These look more like VERY rough concept animations rather than fully finished production quality sellable animations. I hate to be so mean, but its the truth. I have seen MUCH better animations that still wouldn't be a commercial ready product. I think you need to go back to basics and learn animation and story telling before you try to pass this off as a commercial product.

I'm sure that animation quality (and overall production values) will be a factor in its success, but they won't be the only factor. Parents who would be interested in this type of production probably have other criteria in mind.

It would be interesting to read posts regarding this video on a forum with a religious focus. My suspicion is that the message would be the focus, rather than the medium.

Anyway, it takes a lot of guts to put your money where your mouth is, as this guy has done with his time and effort. Irrespective of what the result is, I salute him for that (as I would anyone who had the guts to post an animation on this site). Just my 2 cents. :)

Regards,
Ok, now we all respect if someone posts an animation and we also can say, ok there is some imperfection inclueded in it.
So at least, hobbyist animators or newbies can be forgiven for some mistakes, but, hell, this guy seems to want to make the fast money with crappy animation and this definitely CAN NOT BE HONOURED...

additionally he never posted back when first critics came up, so i think discussion on this "masterpiece" is no longer needed...
