Happy Birthday from Ricky Gervais

I'm doing a series of celebrity birthday greetings. The first one is Ricky Gervais (one of my favorite comedians). The voice was a bit tough, but I think I nailed it. I'm probably going to do an edited version and cut it down from 3 minutes to 30 seconds or so for the web (still, I will leave up the full length version). Equipment used was my old Acer laptop, Presonus USB interface, Nady mic (one of the cheap, crappy ones) ASP 7 pro, Studio One Artist DAW and Sony Vegas for editing and post sound. I think it's okay for the first in a series, but your comments and critiques are always appreciated as usual

Hmmmm, youtube actually removed my Ricky Gervais vid from monetization, stating that "I'm not allowed to use Mr. Gervais' material without his expressed permission!" -Thing is, IT"S NOT HIM- IT"S 100% ME!!!

How do I prove that? Do I actually have to go down to Google and do an impression of the man??? Do I have to tell them that Ricky Gervais has never told these jokes because I'm actually the one who wrote them?

I guess I did a somewhat decent job on impersonating him -but jeeeze, come on guys -there isn't even any noise from the audience (obviously, there would be if I'd taken it from one of his actual videos.

Ricky always said "he's just as keen to take it as he is to dish it" -I hope that's the truth and I haven't offended anyone from his org. That would seem a bit ...hypocritical to me (still love the guy though -I think he's fab!)

I've decided not to monetize ANY of my work from now on ...I don't do it for money anyway, I do it because I love it!

Thanks for listening to me rant!

Thank you, I appreciate the thumbs up. Next celebrity B-day wish? Probably Gary Busey or Arnold Shwartzenhager (I do impersonate him well, but I think a lot of people can do a pretty good "Arnold") :D

Thank you Ahzra and Artpen, I really appreciate the support. Working alone can be a lonely game. There are so many truly talented people on this site that simply need the encouragement to keep on keepin' on. I know that there are many, many people here that will ad greatly to the future of animation ...sooo, right back at you guys, keep up the good work!!! :D
