HI yes all in AS,
Thanks Ulrik.
The band is nothing to do with me, they just wanted a clip, you can find out about them at their site which I put a link to in the post.

Hey chucky! this is one of the most interesting and beautiful animations I've seen lately!

I have a question though: Where all the light effects done inside AS? If so, whoa! a lot of work to control that amount of rays!

Very well done!

Hi Genete ,
Thanks very much, all the animation was in AS , I edited in vegas which has some great effects, some of these including the rays I used to enhance the animation.

This is HUGE!
The animation really fits the music, which by the way is excellent.
EPIC work, i think this is the first time i see something this BIG made in AS by a forum member.
The glowing effect looks great, no wonder its made in another software but i think AS can really make great effects like this one as well:) .
Keep it up Chucky! :D

chucky

May I ask a question? Well 2 questions counting the 1st one where I asked If I could ask a question. :D :D :D

Are you a big fan of this band and made the video as fan art or was it a paid project or both/neither?

I can tell that you put in a lot of hrs making this and at times I thought you were near a meltdown. But alas, it seems you pulled it off and made it through the difficulties just fine. Very well done.

PS.

With all these new uber animations and images posted over the last week or so I doubt I'll ever post another animation here lol. J/K

Pretty amazing dude.

Looks like a trailer for a Heavy Metal (Metal Hurlant) comic turned feature animation. Really Epic.

A significant achievement knocking this over solo on a nutty deadline, let alone to this standard.

(PS I like the story, some parallels to Alistair Reynold's epic sci fi novel Absolution Gap.)
