Hello jose
Not a bad start, but it is a bit stiff, I suggest you put a bit of anticipation and some arc motion into it.
Here is a head turn I made a bit ago that uses both
Head turn 440 kb
Or this one
Homer.mov 565 kb

thanks for the coments, i snached the technique form an animation webinar, this is the link http://www.animationmentor.com/webinar/ ... binar.html, and its not "swoosh" efect... its "smear"... and as Eric Goldberg says ther, you really have to know when you can use it, you gotta be really smart about it cus you can end up with an unwanted effect in thw whole animation, he puts "Jonny Bravo" from cartoon network as an example of overused smear effect
Oops! I didn't realize that this was called smear. ;D Thanks for clarifying that. The Williams book also calls this technique "long-headed inbetweens" or elongated inbetweens. Earlier today I came across this example that uses a ton of smear: http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2009/07/ ... poses.html Interesting stuff!
Thanks for sharing that Eric Goldberg interview link. Just watched part one and looking forward to watching the rest!
