Please tell me what you think of this one-minute piece I've just completed. It's my 'thesis' from a 3D animation program, titled 'Monstrous in Appearance, Monstrous in Spirit.'

small: http://www.staugler.net/thesis/thesis_small.mov - 12 mb
medium: http://www.staugler.net/thesis/thesis_medium.mov - 28 mb
large: http://www.staugler.net/thesis/thesis_full.mov - 130 mb

I'm such a gore fiend, but seeing that bird ripped...

...AWESOME.

Great. Very humourous, even though the humour is completely on the dark side.

I'm glad you like it. I laugh at it also, but it's strange because I really hate him.

As I've been showing it to people I've found that they want an explanation. It's upsetting because I _think_ this comes from an automatic assumption about an artist's work being something that they desire. For instance, when Natural Born Killers was released various groups that detest violence in the media tried to quash the piece when, had they any artistic sensibility, they should have held it up as an example.

I love pigeons. A lot. I've got something around four hundred photographs of them. I feel like if we consider the City as an individual, the pigeon is an awesome pet. Rats, too.
