My last month work: 8 huge videos!

Post by Víctor Paredes »

Hi everybody, I have been working this last month on this project and it's finally done. It's about promote chilean exports to china.
There are 8 concepts one animation each. Animations are mine. Drawings, design, music and concept were made by fluorfilms.com

the first 4

the rest

The interesting thing is that the animations were done for a huge screen (they are part of something like a very expensive Powerpoint made for millionaires). I actually don't know if AS animation have be seen on a bigger screen. Here is the video I recorded when they tested the screen.

I hope you like it!

Well done buddy ;) Fantastic.

Where'd you get the cool sound effects, and how did you do the fisheye lens when the box goes to the Chinese? Did you use only AS or another video editing program post?

Very cool. This is probably your best work to date. Great anticipations, I'm sure you're pleased too!

- looks nice on the big screen! I saw someone pt a clip up of a VJ who chopped my clip up and put it on the big screen too! Looks nice I think:

Thank you all, I'm glad you like the videos.
Mikdog, the sound were made by Pedro Santacruz, he made several sounding of videos made by fluorfilms.com , actually I don't know much about his libraries, but he is a pretty talented guy.

All videos were compound on After Effects. So I always send them the render on parts. There are some simple animations that were made there, in the case of the fisheye I send a render of the chinese guys in a distorted order (characters moved and rotated on borders) then on AE they applied a fish eye effect. The distorted order plus the fisheye effect give some nice exaggerated effect.

It feels so good to see your video on big screen! (even more with goldfish, which is an amazing video clip you MUST to be proud)

There are somethings I want to say: this animation is made on 15 frames by second, I think that make it an special "fluidity".
For the dragon on final video I used this technique
http://lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=72874
For velocity effects made with lines I used the frame by frame button script made by synth
viewtopic.php?p=78235

I hope to upload soon some anme files I want to share.

Thank you again for the kind words!

ah, 15fps. I wanted to ask you if it was 12 fps but you've answered my question without me even asking. Nice. I like it. I like particularly the action of the guy jumping on the see-saw in an attempt to catapult the box into space. Nice clear action there.

Very well done. I like the style, the limited colour palette, everything.

Absolutely impressive. The design, line weight, animation, sound design, everything, is really very impressive. I couldn't understand all or even the majority of the Spanish, but I got parts. I'd never considered using anime for such a stylish looking animation, but I will certainly do so in the future!
