Facial Animation Tests

Post by spoooze! »

Hey guys,

I'm putting together a new facial rig and am trying to develop a better bone-based facial animation system. All of this was done via bone. No switch layers were used. Here's the first test:

So far, I think it's turning out great! I can get some good facial expressions and emotion into the character. I also like the fact that I can make this guy blink without using switch layers.

Any thoughts?

Facial movements are good.
I can make my characters blink only by using vector layers, i have always work of that way when i want to make a blink.

I like the movements of both face and body :D

I would like to see this new bone rig: seems to work
I love comments for they help me improve on my weaknesses.

you need a completely closed mouth imo - particularly on "*B*ATman"
other than that body movements pretty good, if not a little... camp? :)
