My 2nd animation

Post by JimHJ »

I just completed my second animation and uploaded it to youtube (the quality of the upload doesn't look very good). The animation is called "This Day in History". It was inspired by Don Martin of Mad Magazine fame. I created this animation strictly for the fun of it, it is not an advertisement. It's sort of stupid but it was fun to make.

I hope you like it. Please give me your honest opinions here and on the YouTube site.

Thanks.

There's a "Watch in High Quality" link under the right side of the movie-
(I don't know why youtube doesn't just automatically show it in high quality) You can't link to it, but it's there-

The earth background was great as were the satellites, but the trees behind the launchpad were a little out of place-

Good Job all the way across-

Sinclair, thanks for the tip about the "Watch in High Quality" link. I didn't know anything about that. Also thank you for the nice comments about the animation.
The trees were the only things I didn't draw myself (stock trees, came with the software). Correction, I didn't draw the Earth shot, it was a NASA photograph.

I'm curious if anybody gets the meaning of the acronym PI N DI that is printed on the license plate of the US satellite. I thought it was clever but my wife didn't get it. Does anybody?

Yeah, I got it. I knew it meant something, and once I saw the pie it clicked.
