Hi all.
I'd like to now share this file publicly. It's a pilot for a TV series produced in the old road runner style with a twist. It took me 4 weeks to create including music. Comments are welcome.

Thanks for the nice comments. The animation process was very intensive with only 4 weeks to work with.

Good stuff! Liked the squash and stretch on the dinosaur.
Where did you find the sound effects?

Hey Spooze.
I gathered them as free files from sites around the net. I did alter them in Soundforge before I used them just to be on the safe side.

That is wonderful animation, could you please provide some info on the workflow you used to create it.

Hi Magic.
The workflow was a bit unusual due to the lack of script. I did not create a storyboard for the cartoon but just made a short list of gags and basically strung them together.
I break all my characters up into switch layers:
For the legs I create switch layer groups. One group will consist of two layers for each leg in a walk cycled, the other group is for still standing positions so that I can stop and start the walk cycles at any place on the timeline.
To Animate I simply drag the main character layer around the screen and create keyframes to establish key positions so I end up with what looks like a still picture moving around the scene totally without arm or leg animation a this stage. After I am happy with the positioning I will start animating the other bits like walks and arm movements to match where the character is on the screen.
Happy to answer any questions.
Cheers
