As a consumer product for you Macintosh computer, iLife is the best product you can have at this moment (on whatever platform).

iLife includes 5 intuitive applications:

And the new GarageBand allows you to make soundtracks for your movies (or was that available in iLife 05?)

Anyway, you can import video and sync up sound tracks to it.
