N-Sided has released a new 3D character design program, Quidam.
Pick and choose body shapes, heads, hair, etc, from a library of pre-modelled parts, then make modifications to suit.
Currently the library is not huge, and seems restricted to more or less realistic humans and a few cartoony types.
A little reminiscent of Poser or Creature Creator.
Like other such programs, I suspect its usefulness to many people will mainly be defined and limited by the characters and parts libraries made available, and far too restrictive for most of the stylised cartoon characters and creatures that Moho makes possible, but possibly useful to some people as inspiration and reference templates for drawing characters from different angles.
