Adobe Flash will be Adobe Animate in 2016

So they finally did it, I guess. Adobe has finally embraced Flash as a 2D animation tool. They are adding vector brushes and... well not too much else so far. But this may be an interesting new step, one that Adobe should've taken years ago. I wonder if there will be better integration happening with After Effects and other Adobe apps. I wonder how this affects the development of Character Animator. Anyway, what do you think?

Edit: Yes it will still export Flash and HTML5 Animations, but the fact that they are finally adding tools for actual animation and not just web code is huge.

So Toon Boom dropped the "Animate" name just in time for Adobe to pick it up.

It's at least five years too late.
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
