I wasn't sure where to ask this or put it so I'm just guessing it would go here.

Question, Is there other video uploading sites out there other than youtube for uploading your animations on? Dose anyone know any good ones? It's not like I don't like youtube. Its just sometimes there strict about adding music or certain sounds to your vids. Cause of copyright stuff.

A popular one is Vimeo ( http://www.vimeo.com ). But I don't know if they are more lenient about copyright violations.

OK, thanks. :)

Hmm.. I see, well guess I'll be careful for what I use for audio or music in my animations from now on. Just saying. Weather I use Vimeo, YouTube or anything else. Or just make my own music/audio somehow. It just seems some sites have very strict laws for adding music to videos lately. Mostly I heard on YouTube. Rumors really, don't know if there true.

There's lots of copyright-free music and sound effects available on the internet for you to use.

If you're making an animation that absolutely has to use copyrighted music (a parody, for example), you could always try asking the publisher for permission.

This. Your problem would not be youtube but the copyright holders, regardless where your video is hosted.

That being said, here is a starting point for CC licensed music: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/
